This is my comment: "5D's douchebags..."

Yeah, not a fan of 5D's from the get go. GX killed my streak of Yu-gi-oh! series fandom from their segment on. Now this whole thing of dueling on bikes, Street Fighter rip-off, another reoccurring of the Shadow Games that should have ended since the ceremonial battle, and crude character designs...yeah Yu-Gi-Oh! should've died where the original ended unless the storyboard crew have kept note of their previous GX seasons and fill in the damned plot holes that are still there in that season! Seriously! The original series had all the loose ends tied up, including their fillers! But GX? No~oo. And 5D's? Forget it! I worked too hard to get the plot holes filled in GX for my fan fiction, trying to sort out 5D's? I'll be in a mental institution before I even have a remote idea on how to mend that chaos! TAKAHASHI! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT SHOULD BE SANE IN THE YU-GI-OH! UNIVERSE! END THIS NIGHTMARE!

EDIT: Pathetic as it sounds I have JUST figured out Jack is Aussie. I'm not happy about it and probably neither is Valon, "Sucks to be ya, mate!"

hmmm....
you are right with GX 's storyline but 5D's is doing better
it has a storyline and yes, the duel on wheels thing is dumb but they do regular duels more
i won't convince you to watch it but to me, 5D's is good, it's a whole different ball game

Yes but it's not all that original, and it's a little too early to call if 5Ds is actually filling their plot holes. I started playing dentist with GX's cavities around the end of the second season, and after GX's completion, I believe that the fillings I have are plausible. The only real thing I haven't covered were the holders of those so-called Shadow Charms, except for Fubuki, Daitokuji, and Kagemaru.

I agree half way. GX was TERRIBLE! after a few episodes of that, I swore never to watch a Yugioh spin off again... however, my younger sister started watching 5ds. At first I was just like you.

I'm not going to go telling you "My gosh! 5Ds is DA BEST" or "You would like it."
I'm just going to say that it's a whole new show that Makes up for GX and that you should give it a chance before you start bashing it.

and I think the bikes add a new level to the dueling. they're comming out with a racing game for the wii.

You can continue to hate it if you want. GX was terrilbe. the original will always be the best.

yeah true
i did say that 5D's is good but i still consider DM the best
it is too early but so far so good
as for GX, there were so many things that still needed explaining and that is the true disapointment of it
fans of GX even say that the manga is better and it only has like 39 chapters in Japan
well, i just think that GX was a time filler cause it was felt rushed and i'm just hoping 5D's can make up for it, even though the original still stands as best
